The botanic gardens in front of the US Capitol is a constant source of inspiration to me. Looking up to the lush fruit of the papaya inspired this painting. I love the random miracles that water color creates. I enjoy the mixing of color on the paper and the feeling of being a mad scientist from the beginning to the end of the process.
